john singer sargent

this is my master copy painting. i copied john singer sargent's "egyptian girl" (1891) to learn cool shit. i think the girl in there is supposedly 16 fyi. the tangible version of the master copy has more subtleties, the scan was just mediocre/good, not great.

mercury

i'm doing a series of paintings that reincarnates greek gods and goddesses into present day women. here's a paper cut out of mercury (hermes) done with watercolors. background is in process.
